    1. It’s absolutely worth the visit! Kanagawa is home to Kamakura and Hakone. As well as Yokohama. The great Buddha statue is located in Kamakura. You also have Hokokuji Temple and Kenchoji Temple. In Hakone you have the Hakone shrine and Hakone Ropeway for seeing some nice views. If you’re going to be in Tokyo, then do try to take the side trip to Kanagawa. I’m going to be moving my blog to my own platform soon. It will be an expanded site focusing on traveling in Japan. You will be able to purchase all of your train tickets, accommodation and whatever you need to get around in Japan directly from my site. Be watching for it.
